TRC: Share w/ us about yourselves.
Mr and Mrs J: We are high school sweethearts. Been together for just over 21 years, married for 14. We have a 7 year old son. Our daytime professions are that of a teacher and an office manager for a one lawyer law firm. We both have a passion for health and fitness. We make our family a priority.
TRC: We are curious, how long have you been in the swinger lifestyle and what got you started?
Mr and Mrs J: We started in the lifestyle just about a year and a half ago. Having only been with each other, I was of the mindset that my husband had to tell me I was pretty or beautiful. But that I just didn’t see it. We started posting nude pictures on Reddit and I was the girl that read every comment and message that came in. While it started to boost my confidence, it also had a huge impact on our sex life. We started talking about fantasies and exploring our sexual desires. One thing lead to another and we jumped right in.
TRC: What is your play style? What is the sexiest or most erotic experience you are looking for when it comes to playing with others?
Mr and Mrs J: Our play style has evolved over the short year and a half we have been in the lifestyle. We started out playing with couples only in the same room. We have experienced everything in between (except we haven’t been to a play party or a resort–yet). We now play separately and as a couple. We are open to anything that comes our way, really!
TRC: What advice would you give to couples just dipping their toes in?
Mr and Mrs J: I feel like I could be full of advice! First and foremost I would say you have to have a solid foundation to begin with. I always thought my husband and I had amazing communication, this has only enhanced what I already thought was good. Communication in this process is key. I would also say reading “The Ethical Slut” by Janet Hardy and Dossie Easton and reading it together. There is a ton of good advice in the book and it really helped us communicate even more.
TRC: Tell us more about why you’d like to write for The Red Couch and maybe about your hobbies.
Mr and Mrs J: I have a passion for health, fitness, writing and good sex! Why wouldn’t I want to write for The Red Couch. I have always loved writing, never thought I was good at it, but hell if you have a story to tell, you are good at writing! Besides running a law office, chasing a 7 year old around, being an excellent wife, and finding time for sex with others, I enjoy anything fitness related, healthy eating habits, writing, and reading. And at the end of the day, if I get any of those done successfully, well, it has been a good day then! 🙂
