This review is long overdue since we attended the GenieWishes Swinger Group Charity Glow Party back in September 2021 when we first relocated to Phoenix Arizona.

As usual, we have to plug in a disclaimer here. Everyone’s experience of a club or party is different. Our reviews are not meant to “bash” any swinger group or speak negatively of anyone, but to instead give the average couple the honest consumers heads up as to what to expect at one of these parties.

The actual GenieWishes website doesn’t say much about itself. There is a small blurb on the home page: “Experience the difference, engage with exceptional members, access discounted member tickets, attend exclusive live & virtual events, explore validated profiles.” Besides that, there is a link to a Lifestyler’s Magazine article where you could read more about the people that run the group and the story.

I’m pretty sure we found out about GenieWishes from Kasidie. We had been visiting Phoenix over the past year, looking to relocate, so we were excited to find out what the local scene was all about. We had a horrible experience visiting Club Discretions a few months prior, we were now excited to try something new and enjoy ourselves.

Instead of giving a complete play by play, we will just give you the things we liked and didn’t like in bulleted format:

• GenieWishes uses a virtual vetting process. This was the first time we had to go through an actual face to face meeting in order to become a member and attend a party. We loved this concept and wish more clubs and groups followed it. Not just for discretion, but also for safety reasons. Knowing that the crowd we were going to party with was vetted, at least virtually, is a definite bonus. We Zoom called with one of the host couples. They were very flexible with scheduling a time and great to chat with. They asked us about ourselves and told us about the party and that was it! We were then given instructions on how to register and purchase tickets for the party.

• Cost of the party was kinda steep, if I remember at $100-$125 per couple. They obviously aren’t making this easy for non-members. Considering this was just a house party, we thought this was kinda much. There was no DJ or entertainment, but there were great decorations and a food buffet. If you purchase a paid membership you will get discounted party tickets. When we throw Red Couch events, we charge this much for tickets, but they are hosted in an upscale luxury loft with entertainment and amenities.

• Entrance to the party was fine. No line or anything to get in. We found it interesting the party was hosted in a private home in a residential neighborhood. We were definitely concerned about a party bust or neighbor complaints. They requested us to park in a unfamiliar part of the subdivision, away from the location – in the dark. Being our first time we decided to park a bit closer so we weren’t wandering around the neighborhood looking suspicious.

• We arrived inside and were immediately greeted by the hosts and a few other people. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and friendly. The glow party was appropriately decorated with black lights and rotating party lights. The music was done through a laptop connected to a sound system. We were given a quick tour after a few introductions, let loose to meet some of the other people.

• GenieWishes allowed single males to this event. Not opposed to single men at parties, but we’re not there to meet them. They also allow single females, which is also fine. We enjoy both, but single men are plentiful. We don’t need to attend parties to meet them.

• After the first hour, the hosts cut the music off completely and gathered everyone together to say something. I found this to be extremely weird and awkward. While I appreciated the explanation about rules and consent, I expect something like this to have already been discussed in the membership interview. No need to break the flow of the party to explain policy. It would have been fine if it was a 5 min thing, but it droned on for about 15 mins. This made my wife’s pussy dry up and my dick get soft.

• The night seemed to be super structured. After this presentation, they announced it was “dance time.” Everyone moved into the “dance area.” We decided to hang back for a minute to process the depth of the speech that was given before we hit the dance floor. While we sat down, I believe there was a little pole dance performance given by the host? I didn’t get a chance to see it, so I don’t know what I missed.

• We did end up meeting someone and having a great time. The playrooms were spacious and clean. I believe they had 3 open rooms and 1 private room. I was glad they had a private room where the door can be closed for a limited amount of time.

After, we hung outside by the pool and met a few other cool people until it was time for us to head out.

I know GenieWishes has a variety of events and parties they host, so this was just one of the many other cooler sounding bar crawls, take overs and trips they provide. I believe they are branching out into the Palm Springs, CA area too. We would definitely recommend a GenieWishes party if you’re on your search for a classy, sexy but down home group to be a part of. But as usual, don’t take our word for it, go check them out yourself!
